Tibetan Wisdom is dedicated to sharing the richness of Tibet’s history, Buddhism, culture, and politics with a global audience. Through our podcasts, events, and innovative language-learning programs, we provide authentic insights into Tibet’s heritage while fostering dialogue and understanding in today’s world.
At Tibetan Wisdom, we offer Tibetan Language Courses for learners of all levels, complemented by professional translation and interpretation services tailored for individuals, organisations, and the wider public. Our Druktalk Podcast serves as a platform to explore Tibetan history, Buddhism, culture, and Tibet’s role in international politics, while our upcoming Wisdom108 initiatives will further expand our mission and impact.
In addition, we organise talks, discussions, and cultural events across universities and communities in Britain, creating opportunities for engagement, exchange, and learning.
Drukthar Gyal
Director
Drukthar Gyal is the Founder and Director of the Tibetan Wisdom Initiative. Born in Tibet, raised in India, and now based in London, he holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi, a Master’s in International Relations and Politics from the University of Westminster, and MSc in China in Comparative Perspective from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
